Weekend accident claims Waterville man

The Allamakee County Sheriff's Department reports that a Waterville man lost his life Saturday morning, February 22 in a one-vehicle accident on White Pine Drive, approximately one mile south of Waterville.
The report indicates that Todd Patrick Scott of rural Waterville, age 49, was traveling south on White Pine Drive in the early morning hours Saturday when his vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled onto its top, partially submerged in Paint Creek. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
