The Waukon girls cross country team was nearly a most ideal host at its home invitational Tuesday, September 23. The Indians tallied 184 team points to finish seventh out of eight scoring teams at the varsity level of the meet.
The Indians are scheduled to next compete this Saturday, October 4, when they take part in the Crestwood Invitational hosted by Crestwood High School in Cresco. The Indians will then have just the South Winneshiek Invitational October 7 before competing in their Northeast Iowa Conference Meet October 14 at Decorah.
