Midland is 3-5 overall on the season, and comes off a 38-0 home win over Central City this past Friday, October 17.
Both teams have 3-3 records in their current tie for District 4’s fourth-place position in the team standings, and Friday’s winner will earn the district’s final play-off spot while the losing team will have its season ended. Friday’s regular season finale winner will open first-round Eight-Man State Play-Off action Wednesday, October 29, beginning at 7 p.m., at a site to be determined following completion of Friday’s games.
