The Waukon volleyball team locked itself into a pair of one-win Northeast Iowa Conference (NEIC) results this past week, wrapping up its regular season before heading into Class 3A postseason tournament play Monday, October 27 at home against Crestwood. The Indians had their NEIC dual match season brought to a close at a 1-5 NEIC record with a three-set defeat at Class 4A sixth-rated Charles City Tuesday, October 14 and then managed just one win in six matches while hosting the NEIC Tournament Saturday, October 18.
The end result of that final NEIC stretch leaves the Indians with a 15-21 overall match record, 1-5 in NEIC play. The Indians will now prepare to host their first-round Class 3A Regional Tournament match against Crestwood Monday, October 27, beginning at 7 p.m.
