To the Editor:
We should all be bereaved about what’s happening in Baltimore. Many innocent taxpaying citizens are being hurt because of a group of hoodlums rioting, burning and demanding the six policemen be punished (crucified).
Attorney General Mosby charged all six officers with serious crimes. This was a well thought out public stunt to pacify the mob and I guess it worked, but it will backfire. These six will be found not guilty in a court of law.
Our law enforcement people are doing a great job and need our full support. I think they should sue the city government of Baltimore for false arrest. We all know they are totally innocent, just doing their job.
On a side note, this has bothered me for some time. Back when our government came into Postville like a bunch of Nazis, they closed down the plant and arrested lots of people who were illegals and should not have been in the country at all. Our rotten federal government should be sued by those plant officials for letting all these illegal people in our country. I think a high-powered lawyer could win the case. Those plant officials would be freed and restitution should be paid to the City of Postville. It really hurt that small town.
It is the federal government’s job to keep illegals out and the government has failed miserably. Our borders should be totally concealed, like most countries. We have a legal way to enter our country, make that work.
Our country is 18 trillion dollars in debt, and that’s a crime. Our Congress is at fault, and they should pay by losing their jobs. We can vote the bums out. They are, for the most part, becoming rich and will enjoy great retirement packages and benefits at our expense. The question is, can we vote in a leader that will make the USA great again, where made in the USA really means something again?
I know a man, Mr. Don Zietlow, owner of all the Kwik Trip stores, who could bring this country back. All Kwik Trip and Kwik Star stores run like a well-greased wheel, and that’s the way our country should be run. You feel good every time you do business with Don’s stores.
Thanks for reading, and all comments are welcome.
