The Kee football team opened its home schedule Friday, September 4 and was a more than gracious host in suffering a 44-12 loss to the visiting Rockford Warriors. The host Hawks gave up two fumbles and four interceptions, four of those turnovers being capitalized on by the visiting Warriors for a majority of their touchdown total on the night, including a pair of fumbles that fueled a 30-6 outscoring of the Hawks in a fateful second quarter. The Hawks are scheduled to remain at home this Friday, September 11 to begin their Eight-Player District 3 schedule against Turkey Valley. The Trojans come off a 64-28 home loss to Riceville this past Friday but have an even, 1-1 record on the season with a season-opening win over Rockford, 58-20.
