Waukon volleyball team competes at Kepros Tournament at Crestwood

The Waukon volleyball team had just a weekend tournament on its schedule this past week, the Indians playing at the annual Kepros Tournament hosted by Crestwood High School in Cresco Saturday, September 12. The Tribe netters won two of three matches in their initial pool play competition, finishing third in their four-team pool to come up short of advancing on to the tournament’s championship round of bracket play.
The Indians were next scheduled to play at Oelwein Tuesday, September 15 in their first Northeast Iowa Conference road contest before hosting their own home invitational tournament this Saturday, September 19. The volleyball Tribe will then play host to Class 4A ninth-rated Waverly-Shell Rock Tuesday, September 22 before having a week off to prepare for a road trip to New Hampton the following Tuesday, September 29.
