The City of Waukon has set its official Trick-or-Treat time for Saturday, October 31 from 4-8 p.m. Area residents are asked to leave porch lights on to welcome trick-or-treaters, and the youngsters are reminded to keep safety in mind while making their rounds from house to house.
TASC, Inc.
TASC, Inc. will be offering open house trick-or-treating this Friday, October 30 at its facility located at 2213 Mount Olivet Road NW, just off Highway 76 north of Waukon. Trick-or-treating will take place at TASC from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day.
Northgate Care Center
Northgate Care Center in Waukon will be offering open house trick-or-treating Halloween evening, Saturday, October 31 from 4-6 p.m. Northgate Care Center, located at 960 Fourth Street NW in Waukon and owned and operated by ABCM Corporation, has welcomed children for trick-or treating for several years in an effort to offer parents and children a safe alternative to outside trick-or-treating. Residents and staff look forward to seeing the children dressed in their Halloween costumes and sharing the experience.
Southcrest Assisted Living
Southcrest Assisted Living Facility would like to invite trick-or-treaters to its facility at 602 Second Street SW in Waukon Saturday, October 31 from 4-6 p.m. Residents look forward to seeing the children and their costumes, as well as sharing treats with them.
Good Samaritan Society
Good Samaritan Society – Waukon would like to invite trick-or-treaters to the safe, warm environment of its facility at 21 East Main Street in Waukon Saturday, October 31 from 4-6 p.m. Residents will have treats for visitors, and they delight in seeing the children and their costumes.
Trunk or Treat
Iron Ridge Church is hosting its 10th annual Trunk or Treat event Saturday, October 31 from 5-7 p.m. in the parking lot of Waukon State Bank along West Street in Waukon. Families can walk through the lot and visit various decorated trunks, participate in activities and fill their candy bags.
St. Paul's UMC "All Hallows Eve"
Again this year, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, located at 27 Second Avenue NW in Waukon, will be hosting a trick-or-treat event Halloween night, Saturday, October 31 from 4-8 p.m. Trick-or-treaters can take a candy and activity-laden winding path through the decorated tables in the church’s library and back through the Nierling Lounge.
