Samson Boylen

Samson Boylen, 14, of Waterville died Sunday, November 29, 2015 from complications with the treatment of leukemia. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 2 at Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI.
Samson was the son of Scott and Kelli (Kaderly) Boylen. He was born February 20, 2001. He enjoyed reading, video games, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed many sports, especially soccer.
Samson was awesome with younger children, especially his cousin, Mabel. He had a kind heart and a tender soul. Many appreciated his great sense of humor and quick wit.
From the time he was old enough to grasp the idea of growing up, he chose future careers he thought would benefit others, such as explorer, inventor and, most recently, astronaut. He was a freshman at MFL/MarMac High School and excelled in many of his classes. This past summer he got his first job at Prairie Funland and saved every penny to buy a PS4 gaming system.
Last June he traveled to Canada fishing with his "Grandpa Sam," and he also went to Washington, D.C. along with other MFL/MarMac students, with his dad as one of the chaperones.
Samson is survived by his parents and sister, Ayla, at home; his grandparents, Sam and Janet Kaderly of Juda, WI and Larry and Sharon Boylen of Prairie du Chien, WI; his aunts and uncles, Tina and Kurt Jordan, and Kurt, Jeff and Brent Boylen; and eight cousins.
