Michael Robert Johnson

Michael Robert Johnson, age 40, De Pere, WI passed away unexpectedly from sudden medical complications December 21, 2015 at Bellin Hospital. Michael brightened our world on November 12, 1975 in Clintonville, WI. Mike loved the simple things in life; nature, wildlife, walking a stream casting a line, the beauty of a trout, being an artist, French toast, Christmas cut out cookies, watermelon, a good cup of coffee, Beth’s apple crisp, horseshoes with Bubba, and fishing for the ‘big ones’ with Chris. He enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and Detroit Redwings, but he loved the St Louis Cardinals. Above all, Mike’s greatest love was his son, Parker.
Mike worked hard, was proud of his BA from UWO and all of his volunteer work with the Clean Boats/ Clean Waters program to make the world a better place. He was employed by Martell Construction. Will be missed by parents Marcia and Steve Casey, sister Beth, brothers Brian (Tricia) and Chris (Sarah), nephews Andy, Alec, Fisher and niece Makayla. His extended family, Kelly (Chris) Tarmann, Kristie (Shaun) Marczak and Matt Casey, Caleb, Connor, Taylor, Emma and Grandparents, Jack and Pat Casey and multiple aunts and uncles. Michael’s mother Marcia Bresnahan Johnson Casey was born in Waukon - Michael’s grandparents were Ray and Fern Bresnahan. Uncle - Dennis (Susie) Bresnahan. Aunts - Sandy Bresnahan, Sheryl (Rudy) Tekippe and Lori Bresnahan.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere Monday afternoon, December 28, 2015. Memorial Service will be held that evening. Officiating will be Pastor John Nehs Lead Pastor and Joe Gaunt, Minister of Pastoral Care at Bridge Point Church, Green Bay.
Waiting in heaven were his niece Gracie, Gramma Fern, Grampa Ray, and uncles Alan and Neil Bresnahan. Instead of flowers, Mike would have liked for you to do an unexpected, random act of kindness for some unfortunate soul in his memory.
Thank you to Bellin Hospital, ICU team and Dr’s for working so hard to save Mike. Marcia would especially like to thank NP Cheryle and SWAT nurse Melanie for being there to explain, pray and comfort me, no words could ever tell you how much that meant.
‘Eagle’ your soft heart, and sparkling blue eyes will live on forever in our heart and memory, till we meet again.
Gone fishing in heaven.
