Kee girls basketball team scores school record 91 points at West Central

The Kee girls basketball team began another winning streak with a pair of road victories in Upper Iowa Conference play this past week, one of them in the most dominating fashion of the season. The Lady Hawks handed Starmont a 58-40 loss Tuesday, January 26 before racking up a school record point total in a 91-27 romp at West Central Friday, January 29.
The Hawks’ “sweeps week” moves their season record to 16-2 overall, including a 10-2 mark in Upper Iowa Conference play. The Kee ladies were scheduled to host North Fayette Valley Tuesday, February 2 before making up their original January 8 home game with Central Elkader - postponed again from January 25 - Thursday, February 4 and then playing at Clayton Ridge Friday, February 5. The Hawks will then prepare to open postseason tournament play Tuesday, February 16 at home.
