The Kee girls basketball team posted another undefeated week of basketball with another pair of Upper Iowa Conference victories this past week, also having a Tuesday, February 2 home game with North Fayette Valley postponed due to winter weather. In a game postponed twice already this season, the Lady Hawks finally handled Central Elkader, 58-41, at home Thursday, February 4 before coming home with a 64-56 victory at Clayton Ridge Friday, February 5.
Another undefeated week extends the Hawks’ current winning streak to five consecutive games and moves their season record to 18-2 overall, including a 12-2 mark in Upper Iowa Conference play. The Kee ladies were scheduled to make up their February 2 postponed game at home with North Fayette Valley Monday, February 8 and will then prepare to open postseason tournament play Tuesday, February 16 at home against either Central Elkader or West Central.
