The Kee boys track team finally broke a two-week lay-off from competition and also finally got its first taste of outdoor competition for the season with a pair of meets that were able to take place this past week. After having two weeks’ worth of meets canceled by the late return of winter weather, the track Hawks posted an eighth-place finish at the West Central Invitational hosted at Oelwein High School Monday, April 11 and finished fifth at the MFL/MarMac Invitational Thursday, April 14.

The Kee track boys were scheduled to compete in the Edgewood-Colesburg Invitational Monday, April 18 before hosting their own home invitational Thursday, April 21 - details of which appear in a shaded box elsewhere on these Sports pages - and then competing in Waukon’s Indian Relays Friday, April 22. Kee will then take part in the Clayton Ridge Invitational Tuesday, April 26 and the Starmont Invitational Friday, April 29.
