The Waukon boys track team didn’t have to travel too far this past week to compete, and turned in team finishes near the opposite ends of the spectrum. The Indians traveled to Decorah Monday, April 18 to post a sixth-place finish out of seven teams before hosting their own Indian Relays Friday, April 22 and finishing second out of six teams.

The Indians were scheduled to compete at Oelwein Tuesday, April 26. The Tribe will then wrap up its regular season the following week by competing at New Hampton Monday, May 2 and then hosting the Northeast Iowa Conference Co-Ed Meet Thursday, May 5, beginning at 5 p.m. The Indians will then vie for State Meet qualification Thursday, May 12 at North Fayette Valley.
