Kee boys track junior Danny Brennan leads a small pack in the Class 1A 800 meter run Saturday morning, May 21 at the State Track Meet in Des Moines. In his second consecutive State Meet appearance in the event, Brennan ran to a clocking of 2:02.57 to finish fourth in his 12-runner section and end up in the final medal-winning eighth place overall out of the 24 Class 1A runners competing in the event, which was won by Mount Ayr senior Kyle Dolecheck for the third consecutive year in a time of 1:57.15.
