Waukon volleyball team falls to New Hampton and in three matches at Columbus

The Waukon volleyball team played through a winless week, suffering both a single dual match loss before falling to the same fate in three more weekend tournament matches. The Indian netters were swept at home by New Hampton Tuesday, September 27 before winning just one of seven total sets in falling in three matches at the Waterloo Columbus Tournament Saturday, October 1.

Now holding a 7-14-1 overall record, including a 1-3 Northeast Iowa Conference mark, the volleyball Indians were scheduled to travel to Class 4A sixth-rated Charles City Tuesday, October 4 before playing in the Hudson Tournament Saturday, October 8. The Waukon netters will then wrap up their regular season with a Tuesday, October 11 home dual against Decorah before playing in the Northeast Iowa Conference Tournament Saturday, October 15.
