Kee boys basketball team downs South Winn, falls to Clayton Ridge in UIC split

The Kee boys basketball team returned to the hardcourt following the holiday break to play to a split of two home games against Upper Iowa Conference opponents. The Hawks began 2017 with a 56-53 comeback victory over South Winneshiek Monday, January 2 in a game rescheduled from December 16, and then battled Clayton Ridge to another close UIC contest before letting the game get away in the final quarter to suffer a 56-39 home defeat to the Eagles Friday, January 6.

Now holding a 2-7 overall record, 2-5 in Upper Iowa Conference play, the Hawks were scheduled to play at Edgewood-Colesburg Tuesday, January 10 before returning home to host MFL/MarMac Friday, January 13 and then Seneca, WI Saturday, January 14. The basketball Hawks will then play host to North Fayette Valley Tuesday, January 17 before playing at Central Elkader Friday, January 20.
