The Kee boys basketball team played through one of its toughest weeks of the season, not only having to play three games on consecutive nights but having to do so against some high-powered offenses in falling in all three of those contests. The Hawks first fell at Edgewood-Colesburg, 67-44, Thursday, January 12 in a game postponed from Tuesday, January 10 due to winter weather. Returning home didn’t change Kee’s fortune much, as they then fell in back-to-back home contests, 74-46 to MFL/MarMac Friday, January 13 and 76-48 Saturday, January 14.

Now holding a 2-10 overall record, 2-7 in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Hawks were scheduled to host North Fayette Valley Tuesday, January 17 before playing at Central Elkader Friday, January 20 in another UIC pair. Kee will then host Starmont Tuesday, January 24 before hosting Postville Friday, January 27.
