The Kee girls basketball team extended its current winning streak to five games with a pair of victories late in this past week, exacting a bit of revenge in the process. After having a Tuesday, January 24 home game with Starmont postponed to Monday, January 30 due to winter weather, the Lady Hawks paid back an Upper Iowa Conference loss to Clayton Ridge from earlier in the season with a 40-34 triumph at Guttenberg Thursday, January 26 before defeating Spring Grove, MN Friday, January 27 at home by a final count of 62-41.

Now holding an 11-3 overall season record, including a 9-2 effort in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Class 1A fifth-rated Kee basketball girls were scheduled to make up that Starmont postponement Monday, January 30. The Kee girls were also scheduled to play at West Central Tuesday, January 31 before hosting one final regular season game with second-rated Turkey Valley Friday, February 3 and then wrapping up their regular season with back-to-back games, Monday, February 6 at Oelwein and Tuesday, February 7 at North Fayette Valley in a make-up game from January 17. The Lady Hawks will then begin postseason tournament play Tuesday, February 14 at home.
