Letter to the Editor: Fake writing

To the Editor:

I would like to thank Mr. Ward for his wonderful fake writing skills as it appears he has obtained his information from the fake news, as he likes to refer to it.

I plan on showing in this letter how Mr. Ward’s letter writing is fake, like the fake news. How to get started? Might as well start with Mr. Trump being accused as a serial sexual abuser, as Mr. Ward claims. Where in heavens did he come up with this accusation? I know; the fake news. I got on the computer and Googled if Donald Trump was a serial sexual abuser, and to my surprise sites started to pop up. Which one to choose? I scrolled down to where it stated, “Trump Civil Child Rape, Sexual Abuse & C. “Filed” SDNY Fed’l CT 1:16-CV-04642 6-20-16.” What a shock! Maybe Mr. Ward was right after all.

The article had a disclaimer to it, though, stating that these are unproven allegations filed in a U.S. District Court Civil Case. According to Mr. Ward, Trump was guilty even though the court case hasn’t even been tried yet. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Fake writing at its best.

Well to continue, the article stated that the defendants are Donald J. Trump and Jeffery E. Epstein. Mr. Epstein is a very wealthy individual that is reported as throwing sex parties at his mansion in Florida or on his private island, called Orgy Island, for rather high profile clients where sometimes underage girls are used for sex. The complaint was filed anonymously by the plaintiff, “Jane Doe,” a minor of 13 at the time (1994). She states that she was lured to Epstein’s mansion on several occasions by promises of various sorts, including compensation (although not apparently for sexual acts), and a possible modeling career. She goes on and states that she was tied to a bed and forcibly raped by Donald Trump, even though she said no many times.

If this happened, why wasn’t there a trial in 1994 instead of waiting until 6-20-16 to resolve this charge? Maybe because Mr. Trump was running for president. She states that she was threatened if she said anything. What’s funny about the whole case is that she had originally filed this case in California without the aid of counsel and the suit was dismissed due to problems with paperwork. Her new lawyer, Thomas Meagher, said the first filing “sited statutes that did not apply to the case”.

Why wait 22 years to get justice and why didn’t the press cover this during the election since this article was in The Daily News, a liberal newspaper? (First I had heard about it was in Mr. Ward’s letter). But this Daily News might not be a liable source since Mr. Ward always states that Republicans get their information from the Drudge Report, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, and let’s not forget the NRA, plus many others, and Mr. Ward always states these aren’t credible sources.

The reason this wasn’t reported on is because after further reading, guess who was a passenger on Mr. Epstein’s private jet to his secluded island 26 times; ex-president Bill Clinton. Wonder if he had any sexual encounters with any underaged minors, since we know his sexual history with all kinds of women while governor of Arkansas and as the President of the United States. By the way, there are further lawsuits filed by four other Jane Does, one of the plaintiffs stating that Mr. Trump did not attempt anything, as he acted as a gentleman. Enough on this subject.

My next Google search was to see if Mr. Trump was a draft dodger, as Mr. Ward keeps stating. Yep, enough sites started popping up. Which one to choose from?  An article from the New York Times caught my eye. Is this a credible source, I wondered? The article stated that when Donald Trump turned 18, he registered with the Selective Service after graduating from the New York Military Academy on 6-14-64. Mr. Trump went off to college and received four college deferments (which is totally legal). Did you know that ex-vice president Joe Biden received several deferments?

After graduating from college in 1968, Mr. Trump received his fifth deferment. It was a 1-Y classification, which was considered a temporary exemption. Only a national emergency or an official declaration of war would be the only possibility Mr. Trump would be considered for service. Since neither occurred, Mr. Trump remained 1-Y status until 1972 when he was changed to 4-Y permanently disqualifying him. Richard Flahavan, a 30-year employee of the Selective Service system, stated that once you get a 1-Y, you were free and clear of vulnerability for the draft, even in the case of the lottery. Mr. Trump’s 1-Y deferment was for bad feet (bone spurs in his heels).

So, if Mr. Trump is a draft dodger, then ex-president Bill Clinton could be considered one, too. The New York Times stated that Mr. Clinton had written to an Army R.O.T.C. officer in 1969 thanking him for “saving me” (Mr. Clinton) from the draft. I would never expect Mr. Ward to admit that Bill Clinton was a draft dodger  since Clinton is a Democrat and, in Mr. Ward’s eyes, Democrats do no wrong.

Then there is the issue that Mr. Trump should file bankruptcy on behalf of the United States. That’s the best idea that Mr. Ward has ever come up with. We can get rid of the 19 trillion-dollar debt (in which the Obama administration is responsible for 9.5 trillion of that debt, more than all other administrations combined). That way, our future generations won’t be responsible in paying it back. For your information, all four times that  bankruptcy was filed under Trump’s name he wasn’t head of any of the four enterprises (three casinos and one motel). Trump had turned over the major ownership of the enterprises to other people and they were in his name only.

Mr. Trump is in good company when it comes to filing chapter 11, though. Here are just a few who have done the same thing: Walt Disney, Henry Ford, H.J. Heinz, Milton Hershey, Clarence Saunders (founder of Piggly Wiggly), William C. Durant (founder of General Motors and Chevrolet), Stan Lee (founder of Marvel) and two presidents, Abraham Lincoln and William McKinley.

I thank Mr. Ward for pointing all this out to me. It’s been so fact finding, just like letter writing based on “heard it through the grape vine” on my liberal sites that are gospel. One other thing in the last letter written 2-15-17; I enjoy how reference was made to the Bush-Cheney war victims. What about all the young men and women killed during the Obama administration, 1,659 in Afghanistan, 256 in Iraq? Shame on Mr. Ward for never writing a letter to the editor condemning all the soldiers killed during the Obama presidency. Does he know that every day of Obama’s presidency he had our soldiers in harm’s way somewhere in the Middle East, and for what? So, who is the actual war monger? Oh, I forgot it’s okay for a Democrat president to kill our young men and women in military conflicts because Democrats can do no wrong in Mr. Ward’s eyes. Please, don’t write about Bush starting these wars, as Obama himself claimed the Afghanistan War was a good war.

When Mr. Ward stated that Trump and the Republicans are going to take away Obama Care from the seriously wounded and PTSD combat veterans, that might not be the case since, on my way to work Tuesday, 3/7/17, I had my radio tuned into WMT AM 600 out of Cedar Rapids. On the news, it stated that a proposed health care bill in the House had some of these provisions in it: that anyone with pre-existing conditions would still be covered, low income families would get help paying for whatever plan they qualified for, and that kids could still stay on their parents’ plan until they are 26 years old, but the Democrats weren’t going to support it. Sounds to me like Obama Care. So, the veterans won’t lose their health insurance after all under Trump’s health care plan if it passes. Oh, by the way, I do thank Mr. Ward for  serving our country so we can keep all the freedoms that this great nation has to offer.

When Mr. Ward stated that we were duped to believe that our guns are going to be taken away, he said that was and is still a lie and can’t happen without a 50-state favorable vote and a change to the Constitution. Where was he during Government class? Here is a scenario that could happen if our government wanted to take away our guns. The House decides to make a law that states that the second amendment is unconstitutional, sends it to the Senate to be voted on, and if it is passed it is sent to the President’s desk to be signed or vetoed. If signed, it becomes law. Then anyone can take it through the appeal process and if it makes its way all the way to the Supreme Court it can be debated to see if it is lawful. If they decide it is lawful, there isn’t anything a person can do about it.

Why do you think the Democrats wanted the empty Supreme Court vacancy filled? So they could get a liberal judge in there and get their agenda passed when issues were brought in front of the Supreme Court. If you think this sounds crazy, just ask the people from other countries how their gun rights were taken away.

Anyway, guns don’t kill people, evil people behind guns kill people. When evil people want to kill others, they don’t have to use guns. Prime examples: 9-11 hijacked airplanes slamming into the Twin Towers killed many, and at the Boston Marathon two backpacks with homemade bombs killed and hurt many. Obama tried to persuade others to his thinking that we needed stricter gun laws (we already have over a thousand on the books that aren’t enforced), plus background checks. He always blamed the gun manufacturers, gun stores, gun shows, and even the NRA for all the senseless violence. Never once did he blame the real culprit, the evil person doing the killing. Remember, evil people will use whatever it takes to accomplish their motives when it comes to killing others.

It’s also sad to see Mr. Ward condemn people that believe in God. Shame on him. Unlike his party that wanted to take God out of the Democratic Convention in 2012 and supports gay marriage, abortion (60 million unborn babies killed), and the LGBT, all things that the Bible says is against God’s will. Read your Bible and find it for me where God approves of these issues. So, who is the fake party?

One last point. Mr. Ward always says that the Republican party is the party of hate and racism. Hmm, let’s look at what has been going on since Mr. Trump has been elected president: protests, riots, flag burning, beating up people, destruction of property, and so on. Why? Because they didn’t get their candidate elected. Role modeling at its best for our adolescents. All you’ve got to do if things don’t go your way is do any or all the above. What a great party to belong to; the liberal Democrats at their best.

Oh, by the way, I can’t stand the man that is our president. But, I accept him as our president, just like I accepted the Bushes, Clinton and Obama. All of them had flaws and none stood out as awesome. I was raised that you move on with your life if things don’t go your way because life is too short to dwell on trivial things like my candidate didn’t win.

I would like to ask Mr. Ward to do us one last favor and that is take his own advice that he told everyone that didn’t support Obama, and that was to quit being haters and racist and give Obama a chance. So, I ask Mr. Ward to do the same and give President Trump a chance. You can rest assured that if Trump doesn’t keep his promises he won’t get a second term like Obama did since the people believed Obama telling them that he couldn’t accomplish his goals in his first four years since the Bush administration had put the country in such a hole, and in the second four years he blamed the Republicans for not letting him accomplish anything.

Doesn’t this look like a pattern of the Democrats? When they fail to get the job done, they blame someone else. So, I ask Mr. Ward to quit trying to dupe the people of this great nation into believing his way of thinking since his information is like the fake news that we are bombarded with every day.
