Terry Hill

Terry  Hill, 60, of Kent, WA passed away January 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, rural Waukon.

Terry was born in Waukon, and she eventually resided in Kent, WA. A devout Christian, Terry’s fellowship included missionary work, bible study and providing financial assistance to impoverished children in Haiti.

Terry had several passions.  She volunteered at the Point Defiant Zoo in Washington caring for rare newborn spotted and clouded leopards.  Her talents included arts and crafts, cross-stitching and quilting. She created many beautiful pieces that are cherished by those fortunate recipients.

Terry loved to travel. She enjoyed the diversity and culture of many countries throughout the world. She also traveled in pursuit of another of her passions - genealogy. She traced family history dating back to the 1400s.

Terry is preceded in death by her parents, Lavonne Stuckman Hill and Gordon Hill. She is survived in death by her brothers, Greg and David; her aunt and uncle, Victor and Jean Stuckman of Waukon; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
