Kee boys track team seventh at UIC meet

The Kee boys track team had its regular season brought to a close this past week in limited fashion, as the Hawks had a final invitational meet canceled Monday, May 1 at MFL/MarMac due to cold, rainy weather but were able to compete in the annual Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) Meet Thursday, May 4 at Edgewood-Colesburg. Behind four top-five finishes at the meet, the Kee tracksters tallied 37 team points to finish seventh in the final 11-team standings.

The Hawks were also supposed to wrap up their regular season Monday, May 1 at MFL/MarMac but had that meet canceled due to cold, wet weather. One final chance to extend this season will take place this Thursday, May 11 at the Hawks’ Class 1A State Qualifying Meet to be held at Edgewood-Colesburg.
