Converse and Schultz wed July 15 in Postville

Christina Anne Converse and Mitchell Alan Schultz exchanged vows July 15, 2017 at Community Presbyterian Church in Postville with Rev. Gary Catterson performing the ceremony.

Christina is the daughter of Craig and Cindy Converse of Postville. Her grandparents are Betty Converse and the late Bob Converse and Betty Nutt and the late Virgil Nutt.

Mitchell is the son of Kent and Donna Schultz of Frankville. His grandparents are Byron and Darlene Schultz and Doris Eglseder and the late Bob Eglseder.

The wedding party included Christa Jacobson as Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids were Sara Ellerbroek, Jessica Schultz, Katie Coomes and Megan Brincks. Bobby Schultz was Best Man and groomsmen were Blaine Grinna, Mitch Norton, Brent Schutte and Wade Gobin.

Colette Will was Flower Girl and Lincoln Ellerbroek was Ring Bearer. Seating the guests were Usherette Micheala Ryherd and Ushers Jeremy Hirth and Tanner Deering. Katherine Bird was the bride’s personal attendant.

A reception and dance were held at the Dousman House in Prairie du Chien, WI following the ceremony. Koal and Ann Deering served as host and hostess and Janel Eglseder was the cake cutter.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Postville High School, a 2014 graduate of University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training, and a 2016 graduate of University of Iowa with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is employed as a Physical Therapist at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Postville High School and a 2013 graduate of Upper Iowa University. He is employed as a District Sales Manager for Winfield United.

The newlyweds are making their home in rural Frankville.
