Over 30 complete VMH Babysitting Seminars at Veterans Memorial Hospital

More than 30 students completed the recent Veterans Memorial Hospital Babysitting classes Saturday, April 9. The classes were instructed by Corinne Cook, RN, and consisted of teaching the qualities of being a good babysitter including basic child care, accident prevention, fire prevention, and first aid.

These new babysitters also learned CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the Heimlach Maneuver in the case of a choking child.

The students who completed the Veterans Memorial Hospital Babysitting seminar included Jana Wilkins, Kendyl Wedo, Haidyn Farley, Ali Gress, Moriah Downing, Miriam Downing, Marlin Hager, Brynn Connelly, Berkley Wilwert, Josy Connelly, Keira Brenna-Lee, Paige Thompson, Denver Mezera,  Tori Zezulka, Adelyn Zezulka, Lena Rausch, Harper Halverson, Abby Bahr, Jaxon Crary, Madison Miller, Bricelyn Voshage, Sloan Lonning, Lillianna Wilkes, Adelaide Carpenter, Whitney Schnitzler, Eliana Loera, Micah Benda, Iris Wadsworth, Elsa Propson and Roslin Smith.
