Judith Selberg

Judith (Judy) Selberg of Waukon passed away September 3, 2023 at the age of 77 in Waterloo due to natural causes. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 23 at 11 a.m. at Waterloo Cemetery, located at 1830 Kimball Avenue in Waterloo. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 23 at 12 p.m. at Hope Martin Park on Fletcher Avenue in Waterloo. Memorials can be directed towards the family to be sent in her honor for Alzheimer’s/Dementia research.

She was born August 7, 1946 in Postville to Charles and Gladys (Shafer) Klocke. She graduated from Waukon High School. Judy married Roger Selberg June 29, 1963 in Waukon. Judy was employed by Central High School and later the Good Samaritan Home in Waukon.

She is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Kim) Selberg of Waterloo and Craig Selberg of Waukon; two granddaughters, Amanda (Bryan) Benson of Waterloo and Britany (Chad) Barthel of Cedar Falls; four great-grandchildren, Elijah, Ryker and Maverick Barthel of Cedar Falls and Quinn Benson of Waterloo; a brother, Roger (Delores) Klocke of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Selberg, in 1989.
