The Waukon girls golf team played in a busy week this past week that would have been even busier if not for the postponement of a Friday, April 26 home date with Charles City and North Fayette Valley to a Monday, April 29 make-up date. The remainder of the Lady Indians’ week included a pair of multiple team competitions and one dual event, with the golf Tribe finishing third behind two larger schools at the Waverly-Shell Rock triangular Monday, April 22 before falling at home to South Winneshiek, 217-252, Tuesday, April 23 and then finishing fourth in an 18-hole tournament at Decorah Saturday, April 27.

The Lady Indians were next scheduled to host New Hampton - and now Charles City after Friday’s postponement - Monday, April 29 before playing at North Fayette Valley Thursday, May 2 to wrap up their dual meet schedule. The golf Tribe will then play in the Monday, May 6 Northeast Iowa Conference Golf Tournament to be hosted by New Hampton before beginning postseason tournament play Friday, May 10 at its Class 3A Regional Tournament at a location yet to be determined.
