Midwest Veterans of America to honor area veterans and those currently serving Saturday
Midwest Veterans of America will be hosting an event honoring area veterans and those currently serving this Saturday, May 18 in observance of National Armed Forces Day. The honoring will take place at AJ Bar & Grill (previously called AJ Steakhouse) in Waukon, beginning at 1 p.m. Midwest Veterans of America will be honoring more than two dozen local veterans who have served their country in past years, along with seven individuals who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Those seven who are currently serving in the military and were nominated by local residents for honoring at this Saturday’s event include the following (as reported by Midwest Veterans of America):
