The Kee baseball team had a busy week stopped short of being even busier when the two-game Cedar River Classic the Hawks were scheduled to play in at St. Ansgar Saturday, June 8 was canceled due to wet conditions. The five games the Kee boys did play over the course of the first four days of the week all ended up in the win column, improving their season record to 14-3, including a 6-1 mark in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play.

The Hawks swept a doubleheader at Clayton Ridge with wins of 7-0 and 12-6 Monday, June 3 before recording an 11-0 win in six innings at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, June 4. They then shut out Nashua-Plainfield by a 7-0 count at home Wednesday, June 5 before battling MFL/MarMac to a 1-0 triumph at home Thursday, June 6 to wrap up their undefeated but abbreviated week.
