Bonnie Iseli

Bonnie L. Iseli, 71, of New Albin died Thursday, July 4, 2024, at her home in New Albin. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon with a celebration of life to follow at Lid’s in Waukon from 1-3 p.m.

Bonnie Lou Iseli was born August 7, 1952, in Waukon, the daughter of Lynn and Virginia (Winters) Halverson. She graduated from Postville High School in 1970. While at the Waukon bowling alley one day, Bonnie met a handsome gentleman who would later become the love of her life, Kenneth Iseli. The two were married at Bethlehem Church in Ludlow Township October 17, 1970.

Throughout her life, Bonnie worked at Northern Engraving in Waukon and later at Monona Wire, where she eventually retired. She was a member of Zalmona Presbyterian Church. Bonnie was an avid bowler and was part of the bowling league in Waukon. She also enjoyed playing cards with the Euchre Card Club and reading. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, of New Albin; three children: Jessica (Jeff) Meyer of New Albin, Jolene (Kevin) Grant of Florida, and Jeret Iseli of Decorah; six grandchildren: Brett (Kiersten) Meyer of Mabel, MN, Kersten (Jamie Krenzke) Meyer of New Albin, Jaden (Garret Proudfoot) Meyer of New Albin, and Kaaden, Kennedy, and Khloe Grant; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Johnson and Audric Meyer; and nine siblings: Gloria, Lynn, Jerry, Sherry, Sue, Gail, Kim, June and Al.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Jim, Tony, Scott, and Jay; her father- and mother-in-law, Jacob and Geraldine Iseli; and her sister-in-law, Virginia Hazen.
