Waukon volleyball team sweeps through four matches in two sets each over Riceville and Kee at home, and South Winn and Central Elkader at Crestwood

The Waukon volleyball team had a couple double-dates this past week, playing in a pair of multi-team match situations and sweeping through all four of those contests in just two sets each. First hosting both Riceville and Kee Tuesday, September 3, the Lady Indians won both matches in two sets each, 25-23 and 25-17 over Riceville and 25-8 and 25-10 over Kee. A trip to Crestwood High School in Cresco Thursday, September 5 resulted in the same final feat, a sweep of two matches in two sets each by scores of 25-10 and 25-22 over Central Elkader and 25-14 and 25-17 over South Winneshiek.

The volleyball Indians are next scheduled to play in the Kepros Tournament hosted by Crestwood High School this Saturday, September 14 for their first weekend tournament action of this fall. The net Tribe will then play at Charles City Tuesday, September 17 before hosting its own home tournament Saturday, September 21.
