The Kee volleyball team had its 2024 campaign brought to a close Monday, October 21 in the opening round of its Class 1A Regional Tournament at the home of a fellow Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) net squad. The Lady Hawks traveled to Turkey Valley for that opening postseason match-up, taking on a Trojan squad that had swept them by scores of 25-7, 25-9 and 25-10 earlier this season. Although Kee’s net squad opened the match with a much stronger effort against its fellow UIC foe, the Hawks still fell victim to a three-set sweep by Turkey Valley by scores of 25-16, 25-7 and 25-9.

The match loss brings Kee’s 2024 campaign to a close at a 1-26 record for the season. With the win, Turkey Valley advanced to a Wednesday, October 23 regional quarterfinal match at and against Nashua-Plainfield, where the Trojans recorded another victory in three sets, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-19, to earn advancement to the Monday, October 29 semifinals at second-rated St. Ansgar. The Saints ended Turkey Valley’s season in three sets by final scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-23.
