Kee girls basketball team splits pair of road contests, wins by 54-45 count at New Hampton and falls by 59-42 end result at Turkey Valley

The Kee girls basketball team played to a split of its two games this past week, picking up a non-conference road win early in the week before falling in an Upper Iowa Conference road battle to end the week. The Lady Hawks brought home a 54-45 loss from Class 3A New Hampton Monday, January 13 before falling Friday, January 17 by a 59-42 at the home of a Turkey Valley squad much improved since Kee handed the Trojans their first loss of the season just over a month earlier.

Now holding an 8-5 season record consisting of a 7-3 mark in Upper Iowa Conference play, the Kee girls were next scheduled to travel to Postville Tuesday, January 21 before hosting De Soto, WI and then West Central on back-to-back nights, Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24. The Lady Hawks will then play at Clayton Ridge Tuesday, January 28 before hosting Edgewood-Colesburg Thursday, January 30 and then playing at Central Elkader Friday, January 31.
