The Waukon boys golf team played through a very busy week this past week, playing in three different events over a four-night span. The golf Tribe came within five strokes of making that busy week an undefeated week, winning its lone dual of the week before finishing second and first in a pair of remaining triangular events. The Indians first edged Crestwood by a 171-177 result at home Monday, April 14 before finishing second in a triangular at Tri-City Golf Course in Luana Tuesday, April 15 and then winning another triangular at Clayton Ridge Thursday, April 17.
The Waukon boys were next scheduled to make up their April 1 non-conference date at Houston, MN Tuesday, April 22 before playing in the Crestwood Invitational Friday, April 25. The golf Tribe will then host Charles City Tuesday, April 29 before playing in a quadrangular event at New Hampton Thursday, May 1.
