In its only meet on the schedule for this past week, the Kee boys track and field team hosted its own Gary Bottorff Invitational Thursday, April 24. Battling some rainy, cooler conditions, in addition to four other teams, the Hawks tallied six medal-winning finishes in the top three of their respective events, including three event victories, to fuel themselves to 32 team points and a fourth-place finish in the final five-team standings.
The Hawks were next scheduled to compete in the Clayton Ridge Invitational Thursday, May 1 before wrapping up their regular season schedule with the MFL/MarMac Invitational Monday, May 5 followed by the Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) Meet Thursday, May 8 hosted by MFL/MarMac. Kee will then prepare for its Class 1A State Qualifying Meet scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at Edgewood-Colesburg.
