Waukon boys track team finishes in the middle of the pack this week with fifth-place finish at Decorah Relays, third-place result at own Indian Relays

The Waukon boys track and field team competed in a pair of meets this past week, finishing near the middle of the pack at each of those invitationals. The track Tribe first claimed a fifth-place finish at the Decorah Relays Monday, April 21 before finishing third by just one point at its own Indian Relays Thursday, April 24.

The Indians were next scheduled to compete at Crestwood Thursday, May 1 for their only competition scheduled at this point for this week before wrapping up their regular season schedule with a Monday, May 5 meet at New Hampton and then hosting the final Northeast Iowa Conference (NEIC) Track Meet ever Thursday, May 8. They will then prepare for their Class 2A State Qualifying Meet scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at Crestwood High School.
