Waukon boys golf team falls to Charles City in final home meet, finishes runner-up at South Winneshiek Triangular

The Waukon boys golf team played in a pair of competition dates this past week, hosting its final home date of this season before taking part in a multi-team event later in the week. The golf Tribe finished ahead of just one of the three teams it matched up against in those competitions, falling at home to Charles City, 157-153, Tuesday, April 29 before finishing in second place at the South Winneshiek Triangular Thursday, May 1.

The Waukon boys were next scheduled to play in a quadrangular at New Hampton Tuesday, May 6 before playing in another triangular Thursday, May 8 at Turkey Valley. Waukon’s boys will then wrap up their regular season playing in the Northeast Iowa Conference Golf Tournament hosted by New Hampton Monday, May 12 and then preparing for their Class 2A Sectional Tournament being played Wednesday, May 14 at North Fayette Valley.
