June 25 evening storm labeled an EF0 tornado ...

A Wednesday, June 25 storm system that rolled through the tri-state area in the late afternoon and evening hours has been confirmed by the National Weather Service to have spawned at least eight tornadoes between 5:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa and western Wisconsin, all ranging in the EF0 to EF1 designation on the EF-Scale. Five of those confirmed tornadoes occurred within a 30-mile radius of the tri-state “corner” of Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. One of those tornadoes was confirmed to have originated about halfway between Eitzen, MN and New Albin and was classified by the National Weather Service as an EF0 storm. Designated by the thicker blue line in the center of the above image provided by the National Weather Service, a report released on that storm indicates that it traveled east along the Iowa/Minnesota border toward the New Albin area for approximately 3.6 miles from 7:14-7:19 p.m., prompting a Tornado Warning to be issued by the National Weather Service until approximately 7:45 p.m. The storm was estimated to have peak wind speeds of 75 mph and a maximum width of about 50 yards. The National Weather Service further reports that there were no injuries or deaths reported from the confirmed tornado but it did cause damage to trees, with no damage to buildings or other structures observed in storm follow-up protocol.
