The Waukon volleyball team got its 2025 season started with a pair of multi-team events, both in dual match and weekend tournament competition, and came away with three wins in a total of five matches played during its first week of competition for this season. This past week of play opened with the Lady Indians hosting both Kee and Riceville Tuesday, September 2 and limiting both of those squads to just single-digit scoring totals in each set played on the way to sweeping both guests in just two sets each. The net Tribe wrapped up its initial week of competition playing in the Starmont Tournament Saturday, September 6 and winning one of its three matches played, claiming that lone match win over the host school but also falling to both West Branch and North Fayette Valley in three-set battles.
The Indians were next scheduled to play at Decorah Tuesday, September 9 and then host North Fayette Valley Thursday, September 11 before competing in the Kepros Invitational hosted by Crestwood High School Saturday, September 13. They will then play in a quadrangular at Turkey Valley Tuesday, September 16 before hosting their own Waukon Invitational Saturday, September 20.
