Kee girls 2025-2026 basketball team returns all five starters from squad that played to the brink of the State Tournament last season

The 2025-2026 Kee girls basketball season has been looked to with great anticipation since the Lady Hawk team with just one senior on its roster and no seniors in its starting line-up took its efforts last winter to the brink of every team’s ultimate destination. Having its 2024-2025 campaign ended in the Class 1A regional finals - just one win away from its first State Tournament berth in seven years, the hardcourt Hawks will be returning six varsity letterwinners from that high-achieving squad, including all five of its starters in an overall larger team this season of 14 players in the freshman through senior classes.

Kee’s veteran returnees will be headlined by a senior trio of All-Conference players in Addison Winters, Lillian Kolsrud and Elena Schulte, with fellow All-Conference honorees, junior Rylee Mudderman and sophomore Morgan Mohn, also returning in their starting roles from last winter. Junior Lilah Strong rounds out this season’s list of letterwinning returnees.

The Lady Hawks were scheduled to get their 2025-2026 schedule underway Tuesday, November 25 at West Central before opening their home schedule against that Turkey Valley squad Tuesday, December 2. Kee was scheduled to wrap up that first week of December with back-to-back road games at Spring Grove, MN and at Postville Thursday and Friday, December 4 and 5, but that December 5 varsity contest will not be taking place due to Postville canceling its varsity schedule this winter.
