LA Communications Fall ATV/UTV Ride raises $20,000 for local agencies ...

The LA Communications Non-Profit ATV/UTV Fall Fun Ride held October 18 generated $20,000 to support local organizations through sponsorships and entry fees from those participating in the ride. The annual event, which operates under the motto “Raising funds for local nonprofits one ride at a time,” celebrated its fourth year by achieving a fundraising milestone for Allamakee County.

This year’s proceeds of $20,000 was split between two local non-profits, with $10,000 donated to the Allamakee County Agricultural Association and $10,000 dedicated to the Allamakee County K9 Unit. “We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support from riders, sponsors, and volunteers,” stated a representative for LA Communications. “To be able to contribute $10,000 to both the Allamakee County Ag Association, which is critical for our county fairgrounds, and the dedicated K9 Unit, which helps keep our community safe, is a privilege.”

The success of the 2025 ride pushes the organization’s four-year cumulative fundraising total to $72,000 donated to support causes within Allamakee and Winneshiek counties. This sustained effort highlights the dedication of the local ATV/UTV riding community to reinvest in their neighbors.

“Thank you to all who have supported us over the last four years,” the organization added. “Every participant, every sponsorship, and every volunteer hour directly translates into real support for the people and programs that make our area special.”

The LA Communications Non-Profit ATV/UTV team is already looking forward to its 5th Annual Ride in 2026. With $72,000 already distributed, the goal is set high to break the $100,000 mark in total local donations over the years. Community members and riders are encouraged to watch for details on the upcoming 2026 event and join in the effort to continue this tradition of fun and patronage. Submitted photo.
