Waukon bowling teams split home meet with North Fayette Valley, girls post a 2158-2028 win and boys end up on short end of 1913-2225 defeat

The Waukon girls and boys bowling teams bowled a second consecutive meet at home this past week, this time hosting North Fayette Valley (NFV) Friday, December 19. As similar as their second consecutive meet at home was the end results for the bowling Indians, as the Waukon girls claimed another win, 2158-2028, and the Indian boys fell by a 1913-2225 result.

The Waukon bowlers will return to the lanes for back-to-back nights of competition after the holidays, bowling at Denver Thursday, January 8 and then hosting Waverly-Shell Rock Friday, January 9 in a meet rescheduled from a December 5 weather postponement. The Indians will then host Decorah Friday, January 16 before taking part in the North Fayette Valley Baker Tournament Tuesday, January 20 and then competing at Oelwein Friday, January 23.
