Kee boys basketball team suffers pair of losses at home prior to holiday break, 77-40 to Crestwood and 61-42 to Central Elkader

The Kee boys basketball team entered the holiday break in the grips of a five-game non-winning streak, falling in two more games that included one on each side of the final weekend before this year’s holiday break began. The Hawks first fell at home to Crestwood by a 77-40 final result Friday, December 19 before suffering a 61-42 home loss to Central Elkader Tuesday, December 23 in a game rescheduled from a December 9 winter weather postponement.

The Hawks will return to court action following the holiday break Tuesday, January 6 to play at New Hampton before hosting Waukon Friday, January 9. They will then play at South Winneshiek Tuesday, January 13 before playing back-to-back games at home, including Friday, January 16 against MFL/MarMac and Saturday, January 17 against Valley Lutheran.
