The Waukon boys track and field team got its 2026 season underway with a pair of indoor meets this past week. The Indians are next scheduled to compete indoors twice this next week, taking part in the Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) Indoor Meet Tuesday, March 24 at Luther College in Decorah before returning to that same Luther indoor track and field facility Friday, March 27 for the Decorah Indoor Invitational. The Indians are then scheduled to open their outdoor season with a pair of meets the following week, competing in the Frostbite Invitational hosted by Sumner-Fredericksburg High School Tuesday, March 31 before hosting their own Early Bird Invitational at home Thursday, April 2.
