Midwest Veterans of America soup & sandwich event Saturday

In honor of Vietnam Day - designated March 29 of each year, Midwest Veterans Of America will be hosting a Soup & Sandwich event Saturday, March 28, beginning at 1 p.m. in the Community Room at FreedomBank in Waukon.

The soup and sandwiches are free to all Veterans and their families and friends, and carry-outs are available.

The first 25 Vietnam Veterans to visit the event will receive a free Vietnam hat. A small auction will also be held during the event with proceeds being donated to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.
