Waukon girls golf team finishes third at home triangular with MFL, Central Elkader

In what turned out to be its only competition this past week, the Waukon girls golf team was the gracious host of a Monday, April 13 triangular. Having all four of their scored rounds end up in the 50s, the Lady Indians tallied 227 team strokes to end up in third place in the final three-team standings, behind the winning total of 201 strokes turned in by MFL/MarMac and just beyond the second-place tally of 224 strokes turned in by Central Elkader.

The Lady Indians were next scheduled to join the Waukon boys in hosting New Hampton Tuesday, April 21 and then play in the seven-team New Hampton Invitational Thursday, April 23. The Waukon girls will then play in a North Fayette Valley quadrangular Monday, April 27 before hosting Decorah Tuesday, April 28, hosting Caledonia and Houston, MN Friday, May 1 and playing in a Decorah quadrangular May 2.
