Rich and Jackie Johnson of Waukon, and Jeff Mitchell of Waterville and Pam Mitchell of Waukon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Ashley Sue Johnson and Loren Jeffrey Mitchell, both of Waterville. The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon with a 5 p.m. reception at the Waukon Banquet Center and a dance to follow.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is employed at the Waukon Good Samaritan Center as a certified nursing assistant.
The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is employed at Veterans Memorial Hospital and Tri-State Ambulance in La Crosse, WI as a paramedic.

Alec and Ellicha Seibert of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Jennifer Hazel Seibert, born September 27, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Jerry and Angela Stussy of Lansing, Greg Gage of Lansing, Rhonda Seibert of Decorah and Howard Seibert of Harpers Ferry. Great-grandparents are John and Glenda Roberts of De Soto, WI and Richard and Edith Bloxham of Waukon.
 

Patrick Monroe and Aubrie Lenz of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Leo Patrick Monroe, born September 25, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Mike and Suzie Monroe of Postville, Heather Lenz of New Albin, Paul Lenz of Lansing, and Darren and Angie Burroughs of Rossville. Great-grandparents are the late Leo Patrick and Winnie Monroe of Waukon, Joann Fritz and the late Bob Fritz of Waukon, Karen Sires of New Albin, Roger and Jo Lenz of Lansing, Lorna Burroughs of Waukon and Bugsy Burroughs of Waukon.

James and Renea Johanningmeier of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Thomas James Johanningmeier, born September 23, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21-1/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Kaia (16), James Jr. (11), Charles (10), Mary (8), Ashton (6) Edward (5) and Samuel (3).

Grandparents are Gary and Linda Johanningmeier of Waukon and Charles and Mary Ann Andregg of Lansing. James LaRue of Cedar Falls is a great-grandparent.

Mikel Normann and Kathy Lloyd of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Wesley Mikel Normann, born September 22, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Adeline (9), Caydence (9) and Tanner (5).

Mike and Brittany Blocker of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Avery Elizabeth Blocker, born September 22, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 9 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Logan (5) and Briella (3).

Grandparents are Scott and Kim Bollman of Luana, Dawn Blocker of LaPorte City and the late Richard Blocker.
 

Mitchell and Amanda Hess of Lansing announce the birth of their daughter, Reilly Mahr Hess, born September 20, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Rodney and Janet Hess of Lansing and Luke and Jan Mahr of Dorchester. Great-grandparents are Walter and Marianne Mahr of Dorchester, Lyal and Melita Pfeiler of Holy Cross and Lou Ann Hess of Guttenberg.
 

Kevin Gordon and Stephanie Rush of Evansdale announce their engagement and upcoming wedding to be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at First Congregational Church in Eldora. A reception and dance will follow at the Hardin County Community Building in Eldora.

The bride-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Eldora High School  and attended Hawkeye Community College. She is employed with NorthCrest Specialty Care in Waterloo. She is the daughter of David and Julie Twedt of Eldora and Mark and Deb Rush of Hampton.

The groom-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Waukon High School and a 2014 graduate of Hawkeye Community College with a degree in Natural Resources. He is currently enrolled at Hawkeye Community College majoring in CNC Machine Operations and is employed by Wal-Mart in Waterloo. He is the son of David and Connie Gordon of Waukon.
 

James and Bobbi Kimball of Luana announce the birth of their daughter, Hattie Lucille Kimball, born September 15, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Hudson (4) and Henleigh (2).

Grandparents are Kurt and Michelle Kishman of Farmersburg, Bob Snitker of Rossville, Jerri Lynn Kimball of Waterloo and Jerry and Gena Ostby of Farmington. Great-grandparents are John and Sharon Costello of Lansing, Janet Snitker of Waukon, Brad and Mel Kishman of Farmersburg, Herb and Dee Kimball of Sioux Falls and Larry and Paula Hanson of Monona.
 

Michael and Kristin Wadsworth of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Blakely Mae Wadsworth, born August 13, 2016 in La Crosse, WI. She weighed 9 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 20-3/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Emery (3-1/2) and Jameson (2).
