2005 Little Hawk Basketball Tournament Results

The sixth grade division was decided by the tie breakers of “Head to Head” competition and “defensive points” to determine the first three places. Caledonia (2-1) ended up as the 6th grade champions, based on its “defensive points” of 71. The second place was decided by “head to head” competition with the Lansing Little Hawks (2-1) edged out Turkey Valley (2-1). MFL placed fourth with a 0-3 record.
The fifth grade division which had seven teams, finished with an overtime game bewteen Seneca and the Lansing “Gray” squad with Seneca on top in overtime, 24-22. DeSoto defeated Viroqua for third place tne the Lansing “Purple” squad won the 5th grade interpool game against Waukon. Caledonia placed 7th in the division.
The “Little Hawks” would like to thank the visiting teams, the fans and referees and all who helped make the tournament a great success.
