Allamakee Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors Alumni Scholarship deadline is April 23

This is the fifth year for the alumni scholarship instituted by the ADFS Board of Directors. The award is made to a WHS graduate who participated in ADFS while in high school and received an ADFS award as a graduating senior.  The scholarship is available for college sophomores or higher level students who been out of high school two years.
The ADFS Board feels it is important to continue the encouragement to ACSD graduates as they continue their education, not just as they start their post-high school program.
The group wishes to encourage participation in community service and college activities that are part of their educational growth and preparation for career and community life. Scholarship criteria include academic achievement, student participation in college activities, especially in their field of study, and community service. Applications are available on the ACSD web site. All application forms and recommendations for the ADFS Board of Directors Alumni Scholarship are due to the WHS Guidance Office by April 23.
