Former area residents to hold 50th anniversary open house

Former area residents Andrew and Mable Schulte will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house reception Aug. 19, 6 to 10 p.m., at St. Paul's Catholic Church hall in Phoenix, AZ.
The couple are the parents of Charles (Suzanne), Cedar Rapids; Andy (Luona), West Des Moines; Pat of Calmar; Kathy (Stacy), Decorah; Regina (Steve), Waldorf, MD; and Gary (Dema), Mike, Anita (Nate), Tom (Lisa), Ray (Tracie), and Sarah (Manuel), all of Phoenix. The also have 20 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Anniversary open house to be held at the Old Rossville Store

Rodney "Occo" and Mary (Waters) Fink will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 4, 6-12 p.m., with an open house and dance at the Old Rossville Store, Rossville.
The couple was united in marriage Aug. 6, 1960, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Albin.
The event is to be hosted by their children, Tom (Sandy) Fink and Teri (Kevin) Welsh, Waukon; Karen (Scott) Ness, Waterville; and Gregg Fink and Jim Fink of LaCrosse, WI. They have eight grandchildren.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

Golden anniversary announced

Bill and Shirley Ohloff of Castalia will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sun., Aug. 6. The former Shirley Olson is the daughter of Emma Olson of Waukon. The couple exchanged vows Aug. 4, 1950, at the Little Brown Church is Nashua.
They are the parents of Dean and Laurel Ohloff, Postville; Steve and Wendy Ohloff, Ankeny; Dan and Mary Ohloff, Postville; Marilyn and Joni Ohloff, Cresco; and Glen and Kathy Ohloff of Castalia. They have 12 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
