Annual Nightcrawlers Forever Benefit being planned for Feb. 27

The Nightcrawlers Forever committee is planning for the annual potluck benefit to be held Sunday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m., with an auction to be held at 2:30 p.m.. This year's event will be held at a new location, Milty's on Main St. in Lansing.
The committee is once again seeking contributions from area businesses and individuals in an attempt to make the annual event another success this year. Those contributions may be in the form of a cash donation or merchandise donation, as raffle prizes are also needed for this event.
The profits from this year's event will be divided among non-profit organizations from the surrounding area.
Those interested in making contributions should do so by February 19, if possible, and may do so in any one of the following ways:
* Drop off at Milty's on Main Street in Lansing

* Call 563-535-7303 (Kay Christensen) or 563-538-4589 (Joe & Marilyn Schorr) to have the item(s) picked up
* Mail to: Milty's, 200 Main St, Lansing, IA 52151.
Everyone is invited to attend the annual benefit potluck which will feature a pork roast feed, worm-themed desserts and entrees, beverages and appetizers, as well as an anticipated visit from special guests, Walt and Wanda Wiggle. Those taking part are asked to bring a dish to pass for the event.
Anyone interested in assisting with the planning is asked to join the weekly meetings at 7 p.m. Friday evenings at Milty's on Main Street in Lansing.
